Automation Service Specialist

Position Title: Service Technician

Join our esteemed organization as we seek a dedicated Service Technician to enhance our team. This role entails overseeing programming tasks and managing service requests for our operational facilities both domestically and globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct remote diagnostics and maintenance for Gerresheimer facilities
  • Optimize control systems and advance machinery and equipment
  • Perform on-site visits to implement service projects
  • Collaborate with various departments and external partners to analyze and devise solutions for service initiatives
  • Provide training and support to production sites
  • Generate work and assembly reports, including fault history and resolutions

Required Qualifications:

  • Technician, Master, or Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Extensive experience in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens TIA, Siemens S7)
  • Familiarity with PLC-controlled assembly lines
  • Proficiency in robot programming (e.g., Epson, Stäubli)
  • Methodical work style, confident presence, and strong teamwork and communication abilities
  • Willingness to travel for service assignments both in Germany and internationally
  • Excellent German language skills and proficient English communication
