Automation Service Technician

Position Title: Service Technician
Join our esteemed organization as we seek a dedicated Service Technician to enhance our operational team. This position entails overseeing programming tasks and managing service requests for our facilities both domestically and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform remote diagnostics and maintenance for Gerresheimer facilities
- Optimize control systems and develop machinery and equipment
- Conduct on-site visits to implement service projects
- Collaborate with various departments and external partners to analyze and resolve service project challenges
- Provide training and support to production sites
- Generate work and assembly reports, including fault history and resolutions
Required Qualifications:
- Technician, Master or Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Extensive experience in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens TIA, Siemens S7)
- Familiarity with PLC-controlled assembly lines
- Proficiency in robot programming (e.g., Epson, Stäubli)
- Methodical work style, confident demeanor, and strong teamwork and communication abilities
- Willingness to travel for service assignments at various locations
- Proficient in German and possess good English language skills
