Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee procurement responsibilities across different geographical regions, providing essential support to regional procurement teams.
  • Ensure comprehensive strategic management of the terminal vendor portfolio, focusing on vendor categorization based on budget and sourcing needs.
  • Enhance the terminal procurement function by developing and implementing effective methods and frameworks, including playbooks and supplier relationship management strategies.
  • Contribute to the establishment of procurement frameworks and processes.
  • Collaborate closely with procurement teams to execute category strategies effectively.
  • Formulate and implement negotiation strategies with assigned terminal operators, ensuring that insights and lessons learned are systematically documented.
  • Work in tandem with contract management to guarantee adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Execute strategic supplier management initiatives and foster strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Identify opportunities for collaboration with various terminal operators to enhance value.
  • Conduct market research and gather insights relevant to the vendor segment.
  • Provide valuable market intelligence to regional teams and other internal stakeholders.
  • Align with internal and external procurement stakeholders to uncover additional value opportunities for the assigned vendor segment.
Qualifications:
  • University degree in business administration, logistics, transportation management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation, shipping, terminal operations, or a similar domain.
  • At least 3 years of experience in procurement roles, including negotiation and supplier relationship management.
  • International study or work experience is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen interest in research.
  • Proven experience in effective stakeholder management.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Results-driven, enthusiastic, proactive, and adept at problem-solving.
