Information Security Analyst

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Cyber Security Analyst (m/f/d) to become a vital part of our team at Project A Ventures. This role is centered around evaluating and addressing the cyber risks faced by our clients, enabling us to provide actionable insights that enhance their security posture.
In this position, you will serve as a crucial link between our cyber security and commercial teams, acting as a client-facing expert in the realm of cyber security.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough assessments of clients' cyber risks and evaluate the maturity of their information security practices, presenting findings through engaging and informative presentations.
- Contribute to the development of innovative cybersecurity solutions, including vulnerability assessments, phishing simulations, and tabletop exercises.
- Enhance your understanding of cyber insurance requirements and assist the account management team as a security expert.
- Stay informed about the evolving cyber threat landscape and the latest strategies for risk mitigation.
- At least two years of experience in a cybersecurity role.
- Experience in cybersecurity consulting and conducting tabletop exercises.
- A comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and remediation strategies, familiar with frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST CSF, BSI rundschutz, OWASP ASVS, MITRE ATT&CK, and D3FEND.
- Basic programming skills in Python.
- Ability to articulate complex security issues clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Fluency in both German and English to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related STEM field.
This role is based in our office, and eligibility to work in the EU is a prerequisite.
