Presales Technical Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Sales Specialist to join our team at Info Technology Supply Ltd. As a key member of our Presales team, you will play a critical role in supporting our Channel Sales Team and partners in the DACH region.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality Presales and Channel Support to our Managed Print Solution Dealer Channel and Partner Managers.
- Assist Channel Partner Managers in growing the account base, increasing partner acquisition, and partner retention.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and presales queries raised in our ticketing system.
- Participate in teleconferences, providing technical and functional advice as required.
- Perform online demonstrations and webinars to showcase our products and services.
- Be involved in high-level presales escalations and ensure that you are a great ambassador for our company.
- Quote German-speaking customers and partners as and when required.
- Train the Channel Sales Team and partners on the technical and functional aspects of our products, particularly when new products and version updates are released.
- Run hands-on technical workshops for our staff and partners.
- Write and proof-read product manuals, technical white papers, and statements of work.
- Conduct competitive analysis of non-ITS portfolio products.
- Communicate customers' technical requirements to our installations team prior to implementation.
- Provide development with insights into what customers require from future integrations.
- Liaise with third parties when custom integration is required and document requirements and create functional specifications.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure we are positioned to provide the best customer service to our customers and resellers.
- Support Marketing by contributing to the writing of product brochures and participating in exhibitions and regional conferences where we are exhibiting.
- Assist with the completion of tenders and coordinate our company's response.
- Perform ad-hoc general administration tasks.
- Excellent communication skills with a good telephone manner.
- Superb spoken and written communication skills in both German and English.
- Customer-facing experience is essential.
- The ability to self-learn and resolve complex issues.
- Ability to work under pressure and be flexible due to the nature of this job role.
- Self-disciplined with the ability to work efficiently, independently, and as part of a team.
- Excellent timekeeping.
- Thinking outside of the box and attention to detail.
- A good level of technical experience and skills in solution finding and problem solving.
- Virtual server platform and Azure experience is a desirable.
- Experience of print and copy management and scanning software is desirable.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop within a growing organisation.
- Driving licence is essential.
- Minimum one-year experience in a Presales environment is required.
