We are a subscription-based service for high-quality children's bicycles, offering a sustainable and hassle-free solution for families. Our mission is to create a closed-loop economy by refurbishing and reusing bicycles, reducing waste and promoting environmental responsibility.
The RoleWe are seeking a skilled Bicycle Mechanic to join our team in Berlin. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for maintaining and refurbishing our high-quality bicycle fleet, ensuring that our bikes meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the daily maintenance and refurbishment of our bicycle fleet, ensuring that all bikes are in excellent working condition.
- Work closely with our operations and logistics team to ensure seamless workflow and efficient bike production.
- Collaborate with our bike experts from London to develop and implement best practices for bike maintenance and refurbishment.
- Develop and maintain a clean and organized workshop environment, ensuring that all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Identify and report any issues or defects in our bike fleet, working with our team to resolve problems and improve our processes.
- Proven experience as a bicycle mechanic, with a strong understanding of bike mechanics and repair techniques.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Fluency in German and/or English, with the ability to communicate confidently with our team and stakeholders.
