With over 80,000 bikes in our fleet, we are the second-largest bike rental network globally and the largest in the children's bike sector. Our headquarters is based in the United Kingdom, and we are expanding rapidly across Europe, with a presence in Germany, Austria, Spain, and the Netherlands.
The RoleWe are seeking a skilled Bicycle Mechanic to oversee our quality bike fleet and manage the entire refurbishment process. The successful candidate will ensure that our bikes are delivered in excellent condition to our Bike Club families.
Key Responsibilities- Meet daily bike production targets and maintain a high level of quality control
- Ensure bikes meet our quality standards and report any issues to the Operations Team
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop, allocating work among the team and supporting with onboarding and training
- Drive the day-to-day performance of team members and ensure a seamless operational workflow
- Report and solve issues, working closely with the Operations and Logistics Team
- Experience as a bicycle mechanic, mechatronics technician, or in a similar field
- Belief in the circular economy and a passion for sustainability
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communication in German and/or English
- A family-friendly business with a purpose
- Work in the heart of Berlin, with flexible working hours and a core working day from 9:00 to 17:30
