Data Governance Specialist

Key Responsibilities
Assist in the formulation of a robust data strategy that serves as a cornerstone for the enhancement of analytics and AI applications, as well as innovation in business models.
Develop and uphold a data governance framework in close collaboration with the master data management team, ensuring adherence to our FAIR principles (findable, accurate, integrated, reusable).
Design and execute a comprehensive operational model for data management, outlining the organizational structure and roles (data owner, data steward) across divisional, regional, and central levels.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among business units, the data management team, and other stakeholders, including data scientists, data analysts, enterprise architects, and master data managers.
Encourage the advancement of data skills and competencies within departments through focused training and development initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, information technology, computer science, or a related field.
Over four years of experience in data management, with a particular focus on data governance and organizational structure.
In-depth knowledge of formulating and implementing data policies and standards.
Exceptional communication skills in both German and English, along with strong stakeholder management capabilities.
Proven experience in fostering a data-driven culture and enhancing data competencies within an organization.
