About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled System Architect to join our team at STRATO Personal GmbH. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and developing hydraulic systems for our esteemed customer, Airbus Defence and Space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Concept and Definition Phase of Hydraulic Systems: Develop and implement innovative hydraulic system designs to meet the requirements of our customer.
  • Definition of System & Equipment Requirements: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document system and equipment requirements.
  • System & Equipment Qualification and Certification: Ensure that all hydraulic systems meet the necessary standards and regulations for certification.
  • Supplier Technical Management: Manage and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality components.
  • Representing the Department/Company: Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer and suppliers, ensuring effective communication and representation of our organization.
  • Interfacing with Other Functions: Collaborate with various departments, including Flight Test, System Integration Testing, Airworthiness, Final Assembly Line, Technical Publications, Programme Management, Procurement, and other engineering functions.
  • In-Service Support: Provide technical support and investigate problems related to hydraulic systems in service.
  • Project Management: Oversee and manage projects related to hydraulic system development and implementation.
Requirements
  • Completed Studies: Hold a degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic Knowledge: Possess a solid understanding of fluid, thermal, and/or hydraulic equipment and components.
  • Engineering Experience: Have experience working with hydraulic and hydromechanical systems, with a plus for supplier management and requirements verification and validation.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS-Office, Catia V5, and Matlab, with fluency in English and German as an advantage.
