Job Summary

This role is an integral part of the Shared Services Centre Payroll Services Team based in Eschborn. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the administration and coordination of various business service activities, providing level 2 support to internal customers, and coordinating financial reconciliations and treasury tasks to ensure successful payroll processing and disbursement.

Scope/Business Context/Expected Contributions

Responsibilities

Business Service Administration

  • Administer centrally held compensation and benefits processes, ensuring correct accounting processes, company policy, and statutory regulations are met and upheld.
  • Assist with process administration, collate data for relevant reports, and update information databases as required.
  • Respond to requests for information from multiple parties in consultation with the Payroll Manager.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of business processes to support compensation and benefits policy.
  • Assist with user access administration and end-user training.

Payroll Reconciliation

  • Preliminary reconciliation of General Ledger files.
  • Final reconciliation of General Ledger files to release payroll.
  • Balance Sheet Review & Completion.
  • Third Party Payment review & completion.

Payroll Services

  • Become proficient in EuHReka, an SAP integrated payroll solution.
  • Participate in system administration and testing activities.
  • Collate and run reports.
  • Assist with timesheet and other payments management processes.
  • Support analysis of Labour Management data.

Candidate Profile - Key Talented and Experience Desired

Requirements:

  • Administrative experience essential.
  • Previous experience in financial accounting strongly desirable.
  • Previous experience in dealing with multiple stakeholders/internal customers essential.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) required.
  • Fluency in German and English required.
  • Good literacy skills and numeracy required.
  • Good PC literacy with strong knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel essential.
  • Experience of payroll entry or similar data entry tasks strongly desirable.
