Servicezentrum Landentwicklung und Agrarförderung is a leading provider of IT services for the agricultural sector in Lower Saxony. Our team is responsible for the central IT infrastructure, hotlines, and technical support for our customers.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of our Windows Server environment, as well as the implementation of enterprise-level antivirus solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Windows Server environment for application operation
  • Administer and operate an enterprise-level antivirus solution for clients and servers
  • Deploy patches and software on IT systems
  • Handle service requests and resolve issues in 2nd-level support
  • Analyze and implement customer requirements in collaboration with various stakeholders
  • Design, develop, integrate, and adapt IT solutions with a focus on server-based applications
  • Evaluate IT security warnings and plan and implement countermeasures
  • Implement information security, including documentation and responsibility for IT security components (BSI IT-Grundschutz)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Alternatively, completed training as a computer scientist, IT system electronics technician, or computer science technician
  • Knowledge and practical experience in at least one of the following areas are desirable: Windows Server 2016 and later, central antivirus solution (enterprise), virtualization of server systems within a data center operation
  • Secure mastery of the German language in writing and speaking (at least level C1)
