Position Overview:

Doctolib is seeking an IT Engineer to enhance its information systems across multiple countries including France, Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands. The role involves implementing cutting-edge solutions and tools to support business teams, ensuring exceptional service delivery to all Doctolib employees.

The primary objective is to assist our teams in expanding the network of healthcare professionals utilizing Doctolib daily, while also catering to millions of European users visiting our platforms each month, thereby providing them with an outstanding user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Doctolib employees and internal teams to identify and integrate innovative IT solutions.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure optimal IT experiences for colleagues and internal teams.
  • Develop integrations between various applications using APIs, scripts, iPaaS, ETL, and other mediums.
  • Evaluate new SaaS solutions for inclusion in the IT application landscape, focusing on business performance, cost-effectiveness, security, and design consistency.
  • Work closely with internal customers to establish functional and technical requirements for solutions that need to be developed, deployed, and maintained.
  • Document technical and functional specifications for the support department.
  • Automate processes for user onboarding and offboarding, as well as license and data management, which are crucial for a scaling organization.
  • Act as the Level 3 escalation point for support requests and IT crisis management, including participating in weekly on-call shifts.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support teams as part of daily responsibilities.

Candidate Profile:

  • Possess a cloud administrator certification (e.g., Azure, AWS).
  • Experience with Azure cloud services (PaaS, IaaS, FaaS).
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell/Bash, and JavaScript, along with familiarity with development practices/tools like GitHub, CI/CD, testing, and API development (REST/SOAP).
  • Knowledge of security protocols including IAM/IGA, SSO, SAML, OAuth2, and OpenID.
  • Familiarity with networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS, LDAP, SFTP, IP, ICMP, TLS, and architectural styles like REST and SOAP.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for internal customer relations, demonstrating a service-oriented mindset with both technical and functional expertise.
  • Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies and tools, comfortable using Atlassian boards and estimation techniques.
  • Attributes include curiosity, autonomy, flexibility, rigor, enthusiasm, and a passion for teamwork and enjoyment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment typical of a scaling organization.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

Additional Information:

  • Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., Lambda functions, S3, CloudWatch).
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
  • Experience with Boomi as an iPaaS solution.
  • Understanding of PowerAutomate.
