As part of our expansion, Vista is enhancing its Part 145 network, rebranding all facilities to 'Vista Aircraft Maintenance' throughout the year. Our extensive network includes Base Maintenance facilities in various locations, complemented by additional Line Stations and Mobile Repair Teams.
Role Overview
The B1/B2 Licensed Engineer role is intricate and technical, encompassing a range of responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and certify maintenance tasks, rectify defects, implement modifications, perform structural repairs, and execute functional tests on airframe components, structures, engines, and electrical systems.
- Ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks to minimize aircraft downtime.
- Engage in troubleshooting and initiate necessary corrective actions.
- Independently prepare, execute, document, and follow up on all work performed in accordance with airworthiness and current aviation regulations.
- Conduct final testing and release of aircraft, adhering to aviation laws and internal qualifications.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within designated work areas.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, company protocols, and procedures.
- Foster a Just Culture, comply with Health & Safety policies, and report incidents through the Company Safety Management System.
- Identify and communicate any technical discrepancies or issues to the maintenance management team.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Be available for AOG support and demonstrate willingness to travel as needed.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Possess a valid EASA B1 License.
- Have several years of practical experience, preferably with our fleet's aircraft types.
- Exhibit proficiency in the English language, both written and spoken.
- Have the right to work in the European Union without restrictions.
- Demonstrate high motivation, teamwork skills, and attention to detail.
- Be eligible for an airside pass.
- Hold a valid car driving license.
- Possess Embraer 1000E Lineage aircraft type ratings along with relevant practical experience.
