Vista is a global aviation company with a fleet of over 360 aircraft, offering its members access to the largest privately owned fleet in the world.
We are expanding our Part 145 network and rebranding our facilities to 'Vista Aircraft Maintenance' in 2023. Our locations include Base Maintenance facilities in Farnborough, Paris Le Bourget, Munich, Baden Baden, Van Nuys, and Bay City, with additional Line Stations in Malta, Nice, and Luton, and Mobile Repair Teams in South Florida and the New York area.
We are recruiting EASA Licensed Engineers to join our team in Baden-Baden.
Your Responsibilities
The role of a Licensed Aircraft Engineer is complex and technical. Responsibilities include:
- Inspecting and certifying maintenance tasks, defect rectification, modifications, structural repairs, and functional tests on aircraft components and systems.
- Completing assigned work in a timely manner to optimize aircraft downtime.
- Troubleshooting and initiating corrective actions.
- Preparing, executing, following up, and documenting work carried out in compliance with airworthiness and aviation law regulations.
- Final testing and release of aircraft in compliance with aviation law regulations.
- Maintaining a high standard of husbandry and cleanliness within assigned work areas.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, company processes, and procedures.
- Promoting a Just Culture, adhering to company Health & Safety policies, and reporting incidents and occurrences through the Company Safety Management System.
- Highlighting technical issues, discrepancies, or other issues to the maintenance management team.
- Actively supporting, promoting, and contributing to continuous improvement.
- Undertaking reasonable activities as required, including supporting other Vista maintenance facilities.
- AOG support and willingness to travel abroad.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
- Hold a valid EASA B1 License.
- Several years of practical experience, ideally on our fleet's aircraft types.
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Have the right to work in the European Union without restriction.
- Be highly motivated, a great team player with a high level of attention to detail.
- Must be eligible for an airside pass.
- Hold a valid car driving license.
- Embraer 1000E Lineage aircraft type ratings plus related practical experience is essential.
