About the Role
VistaJet is seeking a highly skilled B1 Licensed Engineer to join our team in Baden-Baden. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of our fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and certify maintenance tasks, defect rectification, modifications, structural repairs, and functional tests on components and systems of airframe, structure, and engines or/and electrical systems/avionics components as well as signal and data lines.
- Complete all assigned work in a timely manner to optimize aircraft downtime.
- Troubleshoot and initiate required corrective actions.
- Prepare, execute, follow-up, and document all work carried out in compliance with airworthiness and current aviation law regulations and requirements.
- Final testing and release of aircraft in compliance with current aviation law regulations and within the specified internal qualification.
- Maintain a high standard of husbandry and cleanliness within assigned work areas.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company processes, and procedures.
- Promote a Just Culture, adhere to company Health & Safety policies, and report all incidents and occurrences through the Company Safety Management System.
- Highlight any technical issues, discrepancies, or other issues to the maintenance management team.
- Actively support, promote, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Undertake any reasonable activities as required, including supporting other Vista maintenance facilities.
- AOG support and willingness to travel abroad.
Requirements
- Hold a valid EASA B1 License.
- Several years of practical experience, ideally on our fleet's aircraft types.
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Have the right to work in the European Union without restriction.
- Be highly motivated, a great team player with a high level of attention to detail.
- Must be eligible for an airside pass.
- Hold a valid car driving license.
- Embraer 1000E Lineage aircraft type ratings plus related practical experience is essential.
