Senior Electrical Engineer for Substation Projects

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to lead our projects in the field of substations and electrical installations. As a Project Leader, you will be responsible for the successful execution of our projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and design substations, including primary and secondary technical components, as well as protection systems
  • Coordinate and manage all project stakeholders to ensure that the project timeline aligns with the planned schedule
  • Ensure that customer requirements are met and that the project is delivered in accordance with our company's quality, compliance, and safety standards
  • Develop and manage project documentation, including tender texts, specifications, data sheets, drawings, and layouts
  • Evaluate and compare bids and project proposals against the project requirements
  • Conduct site inspections and oversee the construction process to ensure that the project is completed to the required standards

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Relevant work experience in the field of electrical engineering, particularly in substations and switchgear
  • Experience in project management and leadership is an asset
  • Excellent knowledge of the European High Voltage Network
  • Fluent German and English language skills
  • Ability to travel (approximately 20-25%) for international and national projects
