About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Chinese Copy Editor to join our team in Munich. As a key member of our Copy Editing team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality content for our luxury e-commerce platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write engaging and accurate product descriptions in Chinese for daily uploads
  • Develop copy for daily business, including newsletters, homepage, and social media content
  • Sub-edit copy across all channels, providing constructive feedback to the team as needed
  • Write and sub-edit designer biographies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a consistent tone of voice
  • Participate in creative workshops, brand trainings, and new projects aimed at team development

Requirements

  • Native Chinese speaker with excellent written and verbal skills, including a strong grasp of spelling and grammar
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English
  • Educated to degree level with a background in Journalism, Creative Writing, Marketing, or fashion-related subjects
  • Good knowledge of industry trends, luxury brands, and textiles in fashion and lifestyle
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills, with experience managing deadlines and/or translation coordination desirable
  • Familiar with MS Office and CMS systems
  • 1-2 years of experience writing SEO and fashion-related copy in e-commerce, editorial, or digital media environments desirable
