Role Overview
As a Senior Knowledge Analyst at The Boston Consulting Group, you will be an integral part of a dynamic global team, delivering expertise and insights in sales while collaborating with case and proposal teams to create valuable knowledge assets, perform analyses, and provide expert advisory services.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  • Act as a thought partner and content specialist for case teams and sector leaders, assisting in structuring and resolving intricate challenges.
  • Support the Sales Topic by enhancing existing and developing new intellectual property and knowledge resources.
  • Contribute to the creation of data and analytical tools as part of the overall service offering.
  • Engage in commercialization initiatives for the topic/sector, collaborating with business leaders, and hosting regular internal discussions to bolster marketing efforts, conferences, and publications.
  • Guide and mentor junior colleagues, sharing best practices within a global team environment.

Required Skills

  • Proven ability to solve client challenges through relevant research and analytical methods.
  • Expertise in codifying knowledge and maintaining resources for the Sales Topic.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with senior stakeholders confidently.
  • Collaborative mindset, with proficiency in agile working methods, even in virtual settings.
  • A flexible and innovative approach, with a willingness to explore new ideas.
  • Capability to navigate complexity and ambiguity in an entrepreneurial context.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in consulting or knowledge management, preferably in a commercial capacity such as marketing or sales.
  • If lacking consulting experience, at least 3 years of relevant industry experience is required, with a preference for 4-6 years in fields like sales, digital sales, marketing technology, or sales operations.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is essential; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Fluency in both English and German.
  • Proficiency in creating presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Data analytics and visualization skills, with familiarity in tools like Alteryx and Tableau being advantageous.
  • Demonstrated leadership and planning capabilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration in a global team.

Collaboration
As a Senior Knowledge Analyst, you will work closely with regional and global topic leaders and colleagues across BCG, leveraging expertise and capabilities to serve both internal and external clients. The Knowledge Team (KT) consists of functional and industry experts who utilize deep domain knowledge to provide insights for case teams and clients.
