ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Senior Knowledge Analyst at The Boston Consulting Group, you will be an integral part of a dynamic global team within the MSP Practice Area. Your primary focus will be to deliver sales expertise and insights while collaborating with case and proposal teams to develop valuable knowledge assets, perform in-depth analysis, and provide expert advisory services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will:

  • Act as a thought partner and content expert, assisting case teams and sector leaders in structuring and addressing complex challenges.
  • Support the Sales Topic by enhancing existing and creating new intellectual property and knowledge assets.
  • Contribute to the development of data and analytical tools as part of the overall service offering.
  • Engage in commercialization efforts for the topic/sector, collaborating with business leaders, and facilitating regular internal discussions.
  • Assist in marketing initiatives, conferences, and publications to promote knowledge assets.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior colleagues, sharing best practices within a global team.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in consulting or knowledge management, preferably in a commercial role such as marketing or sales.
  • If lacking consulting experience, at least 3 years of relevant industry experience is required, with a preference for 4-6+ years in fields like sales, digital sales, or sales technology.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory, with an advanced degree being advantageous.
  • Fluency in both English and German is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, with experience in data analytics and visualization tools like Alteryx and Tableau preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication with stakeholders.
  • A collaborative mindset, capable of thriving in a global team environment.

COLLABORATIVE ENVIRONMENT
As a Senior Knowledge Analyst, you will work closely with regional and global topic leads, leveraging expertise to serve both internal and external clients. Our team comprises a diverse range of knowledge professionals, fostering innovative knowledge careers.

ADDITIONAL CONTEXT
The Knowledge Team (KT) consists of functional and industry experts who utilize their deep domain knowledge to provide insights for case teams and clients. KT members are aligned with BCG Practice Areas, contributing to strategic agendas and developing cutting-edge data tools and assets.

Through periodic staffing on cases, KT members co-create insights with case teams and clients, delivering expert perspectives on industry trends and conducting complex research and analysis.

KT members also play a crucial role in business development and proposal efforts, organizing and codifying knowledge to enhance BCG's ability to deliver exceptional business value.
