Job Description

As Head of Controlling, you will play a key role in building and developing the Controlling structures of our client, a capital market-oriented company. You will report to the international headquarters and work closely with the management and other departments to position the company for the future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and lead the Controlling department on a group level
  • Develop and implement standardized Controlling processes, methods, and tools
  • Be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and liquidity planning, as well as creating deviation analyses and interpreting them
  • Analyze business figures and support management in decision-making with well-founded financial recommendations
  • Ensure consistent and transparent reporting to the international headquarters
  • Work closely with international finance departments and other relevant departments
  • Support the introduction and optimization of IT systems in Controlling
Requirements
  • Completed studies in business administration, finance, or a comparable qualification, preferably with a focus on Controlling
  • Several years of experience in a leading position in Controlling, preferably in a capital market-oriented company
  • Deep knowledge in the areas of budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting
  • International experience and ability to act in a global environment
  • Experience in building structures and processes, as well as working with modern Controlling tools
  • Excellent communication skills and assertiveness
  • Fluent English skills; additional foreign languages are an asset
