About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Intern to join our team at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics. As a Business Development Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our Mergers and Acquisitions team in identifying and evaluating potential acquisition targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of national and international transactions in the area of company acquisitions, divestments, and joint ventures.
  • Support in the implementation of company valuations according to recognized and customary valuation methods (DCF / Multiples).
  • Prepare decision documents for management.
  • Collaborate in the implementation of screening projects.
  • Active cooperation in portfolio, key figure, market, and competition analyses.

Requirements:

  • Degree in economics, law, engineering, or natural sciences (4th semester or higher).
  • Ideal first practical experience, e.g., in the context of internships in industry, management consultancy, or investment bank.
  • Interest in financial issues.
  • Sound analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Independent, responsible working style combined with very good English skills.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) round off your profile.
