About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our Platform Development team as Head of Platform Development. This is a key role within our organization, and the successful candidate will be responsible for driving the development of our platform and ensuring its continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Platform Development team, providing guidance and direction to ensure the successful delivery of projects and initiatives.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive development strategy, including the creation of a long-term technology roadmap and the planning of upgrades and migrations.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of the platform's system architecture, selecting suitable technologies and frameworks to ensure scalability and performance.
  • Implement best practices in information security, conducting regular security audits and ensuring the protection of sensitive data.
  • Ensure the efficient scaling and performance of the platform and developed software, identifying and addressing any issues or bottlenecks.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, communicating effectively to ensure the successful delivery of projects and initiatives.
  • Plan and optimize resources (people, budget, technology) to ensure the efficient execution of development projects.
  • Implement processes for quality assurance, monitoring key performance indicators, and collaborating with external service providers to meet technical requirements.
Requirements
  • Deep understanding of system architecture, software development, and technological trends.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of information security, scalability, and performance optimization.
  • Experience in disciplinary leadership and team development, including personnel management, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to develop and implement long-term technological strategies and implement innovative solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and internal communication skills (German and English).
  • Proactive conflict management and the promotion of a positive work environment are essential.
  • Focus on quality assurance and achieving performance goals.
  • Ability to adapt to new challenges and changes in the technological environment.
