Procurement Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Manager to join our team at Emerson. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing a team of tactical buyers and overseeing the purchase order process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly manage a team of tactical buyers to ensure efficient and effective procurement processes.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the purchase order process, including tracking open PO reports and communicating with suppliers.
- Collaborate with global supply chain teams to ensure alignment with sourcing strategies.
- Monitor and report supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
- Ensure data accuracy and reliability for customs compliance and vendor management.
- Meet yearly KPI targets and contribute to the development of new products and components.
Requirements:
- Fluent English and German language skills.
- University/College certification and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Materials management knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Desirable qualifications include engineering certification, supply chain certification, and SAP knowledge.
