About the Role of Lead Web Developer (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Lead Web Developer (m/f/d) to join our Professional Services team. In this role, you will collaborate with fellow developers, project managers, and clients, and be involved in exciting projects from the outset.

During the onboarding phase, you will assist your colleagues with their tasks while acquiring the necessary skills to manage projects independently. We will assign you an experienced mentor to support your professional growth. You will have the opportunity to advance rapidly and take on significant responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and develop existing client projects such as job portals, job postings, or career websites, while also contributing to new features in our frontend products.
  • Stay updated on the latest technological advancements and implement them effectively.
  • Act as the technical point of contact for clients and colleagues regarding web development and design.
  • Continuously improve and develop the web components of our career site framework.
  • Occasionally create mock-ups for job posting designs or job lists in Figma and engage with clients regarding these.
  • Contribute to the success of web projects by assisting in planning, organizing, and monitoring, or taking full responsibility for these tasks.
  • Participate in international rollouts.
  • Learn to navigate Talention and other software tools.

Your Profile:

  • You possess a minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience in media design and frontend development.
  • You have strong skills in HTML, (S)CSS, and JavaScript.
  • You are familiar with design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.
  • You have experience with JavaScript frameworks like React and build tools such as Webpack or Grunt.
  • Handlebars is also within your expertise.
  • Knowledge of SEO, email layout/coding, and REST APIs is beneficial.
  • You are well-informed about current trends, techniques, and tools, and know where to find information.
  • You possess a quick learning ability, are meticulous, can recognize connections, and are willing to think outside the box.
  • You have an excellent command of German (C1) and good English skills (B2).
