Your Responsibilities- Advise the European Leadership Team on all legal matters, emphasizing contract and corporate law.
- Review, draft, and negotiate a diverse array of commercial contracts, including master service agreements, cooperation agreements, licensing agreements, supplier contracts, confidentiality agreements, and various terms and conditions.
- Analyze and summarize legal documents and intricate business transactions.
- Provide legal support for the establishment of new foreign subsidiaries and branch offices.
- Identify weaknesses and recommend improvements, implementing necessary changes.
- Assist the General Counsel and external legal counsel in managing litigation, responding to third-party subpoenas, and regulatory inquiries.
- Support the Human Resources department in drafting and negotiating employment agreements and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Offer guidance on regulatory and compliance issues, ensuring adherence to applicable laws.
- Oversee all legal procedures in collaboration with notaries and lawyers for European entities, including registrations and property transactions.
- Advise management on general corporate law matters.
- Engage in special projects as required.
- Collaborate within interdisciplinary and international teams in a collegial environment.
- 2-5 years of experience as a practicing lawyer, qualified as a Rechtsanwalt in Germany, a Solicitor in the UK, or authorized to practice European Law.
- Practical experience with a strong emphasis on corporate and complex commercial transactions.
- Experience in logistics, regulatory, privacy, and compliance is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards, adhering to professional conduct rules.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of presenting complex legal issues clearly.
- Conscientious and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks independently.
- Fluent in German and English, with proficiency in an additional European language being advantageous.
