Job Title: Software Project Lead Infotainment

At BMW Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Software Project Lead Infotainment to join our team. As a key member of our software management team, you will be responsible for leading software development teams through sub-organizations and driving the software development of the infotainment platform for an automotive infotainment ECU.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead software development teams through sub-organizations and ensure successful delivery of software projects.
  • Develop and implement software development strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software development projects.
  • Manage software development budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Ensure software development teams adhere to industry standards and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders and software development teams.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development project management.
  • Proven experience in leading large, distributed software development teams.
  • Strong experience in planning, organizing, and executing software development projects.
  • Experience with different software domains on Linux systems, preferably in context of embedded devices.
  • Experience in delivering products that include open source components is beneficial.
