Position Overview
The (Senior) Project Consultant (f/m/d) – Compliance & Certification is tasked with overseeing the security compliance lifecycle and ensuring the quality of cloud offerings within the framework of our SAP BTP and SAP Cloud Infrastructure services' ISMS/BCMS. This role requires a comprehensive, end-to-end approach, collaborating with various departments such as IT, Legal, and Finance to meet technology and security compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritize security compliance challenges, including Quality and Governance, in collaboration with relevant operational or development teams.
- Adopt a broad perspective on compliance and governance, recognizing the convergence of technical security, security controls, and organizational measures in cloud computing.
- Lead compliance initiatives, conducting gap assessments and advising on the implementation of controls to meet regulatory standards while establishing a governance framework and ensuring adherence to quality benchmarks.
- Consult and coordinate across functions, particularly in legal and regulatory compliance, translating these requirements into actionable controls.
- Support and promote best practices for internal and external audits related to information security and compliance, providing guidance to business units.
Qualifications
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in computer science, natural sciences, economics, engineering, or a related field with proficiency in business economics and process analysis.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in compliance, project management, quality assurance, or security.
- Experience working on international and virtual projects.
- Familiarity with ISO, SOC, C5 certifications, and audit processes.
- A strong passion for compliance with a background in security and quality management.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with agility and openness.
- Hands-on experience with compliance, quality, or security topics is advantageous.
- Practical knowledge in Project Management is a plus.
- Desirable knowledge of ISO/SOC/C5-related certification and audit practices.
- Understanding of cloud platform technologies, including Infrastructure Management, Management Systems, Virtualization, Containers, and Kubernetes is beneficial.
Team Dynamics
The Compliance, Certification, and Governance team is responsible for overseeing compliance governance for customer-facing cloud development and operations.
