Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Developer (f/m/d) to enhance our team focused on SAP Cloud Application Lifecycle Management (SAP Cloud ALM), a prominent Java-based cloud-native application operating on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This solution is recognized as a key reference within the SAP BTP 'Golden Path', which comprises a curated selection of services and methodologies that embody the foundational elements of SAP's cloud applications on BTP.
Your Responsibilities
- Engage in the development of cloud-native microservices within a scrum team, specifically focusing on the 'Test Management' features of SAP Cloud ALM.
- Utilize technologies such as CAP, DWC, HANA Cloud, and Fiori elements with Java to deliver comprehensive functionalities for managing tests throughout the application lifecycle.
- Assume end-to-end development accountability for microservices, encompassing design, implementation, automated testing, and deployment.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in enterprise software development.
- Proficient in developing microservices and/or cloud-based applications.
- Strong command of programming languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with the Business Technology Platform (BTP), particularly within the CloudFoundry environment.
- Experience with development frameworks and tools, including GIT, Jenkins, and Visual Studio Code / Eclipse.
- Ability to swiftly adapt to new technologies in a dynamic setting.
- Fluent in German, both written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team spirit.
- Experience with Deploy with Confidence (DwC), SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), Fiori Elements, and GenAI is advantageous.
