Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer to join our team in SAP Cloud Application Lifecycle Management (SAP Cloud ALM), one of the largest Java-based cloud native applications. As an agile cloud developer, you will work in a scrum team developing cloud-native micro-services using CAP, DWC, HANA Cloud, Fiori elements with Java.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and deploy cloud-native micro-services
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software using Java and related technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features and functionalities
  • Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and applications
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase
Requirements
  • Master's degree in computer sciences or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in developing enterprise software
  • Experience in developing micro-services and/or cloud-based applications
  • Good expertise in programming languages e.g. Java, Python, JavaScript
  • Knowledge in Business Technology Platform (BTP), especially in CloudFoundry environment
  • Experience in using development frameworks and tools like GIT, Jenkins, Visual Studio Code / Eclipse
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies in a dynamic environment
  • Fluent German language skills are mandatory – verbal and written
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, being a inclusive and supportive team player
About the Team

Our team is part of the Customer eXperience & Solutions (CXS) teams within the Customer Support organization, engineering software products in the area of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) that helps to create the perfect experience throughout the customer journey.

We have engineered SAP Cloud ALM in a cloud-native architecture, with single trunk development that enables daily delivery to production.

This position can also be filled in part time.
