Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer to join our team in SAP Cloud Application Lifecycle Management (SAP Cloud ALM), a leading Java-based cloud native application. As a key member of our scrum team, you will be responsible for developing cloud-native micro-services using CAP, DWC, HANA Cloud, and Fiori elements with Java.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and test micro-services for our customers to manage their tests throughout the application lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver functionalities for our customers, ensuring high-quality and efficient development.
  • Develop expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript, and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and frameworks.
  • Contribute to the development of our micro-services, including automated testing and deployment.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in computer sciences or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in developing enterprise software.
  • Experience in developing micro-services and/or cloud-based applications.
  • Good expertise in programming languages, including Java, Python, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge in Business Technology Platform (BTP), especially in CloudFoundry environment.
  • Experience in using development frameworks and tools like GIT, Jenkins, Visual Studio Code / Eclipse.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluent German language skills are mandatory – verbal and written.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, being a inclusive and supportive team player.

Our team is part of the Customer eXperience & Solutions (CXS) teams within the Customer Support organization, engineering software products in the area of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) that helps to create the perfect experience throughout the customer journey.

SAP Cloud ALM is one of the fastest growing SaaS products within SAP, with 5500+ customers. We have engineered SAP Cloud ALM in a cloud-native architecture, with single trunk development that enables daily delivery to production.

This position can also be filled in part time.
