Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management of product categories and supplier relationships within MRO, packaging, and logistics sectors.
- Formulate and execute comprehensive product group strategies across multiple locations.
- Actively manage supplier portfolios with a focus on optimizing supplier count.
- Identify and evaluate supply sources: Initiate procurement activities, conduct tender processes, and collaborate with stakeholders for supplier selection.
- Lead contract negotiations and finalize agreements.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration within a global organizational structure.
- Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and efficiency in both operational and strategic procurement, implementing necessary changes.
Required Qualifications:
- A degree in industrial engineering, business administration, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in global product group purchasing or project purchasing within an industrial environment. Experience in logistics service procurement is a plus.
- Proficiency in SAP MM module, with initial exposure to SAP S/4 HANA, eProcurement systems, and reporting tools.
- A proactive, independent, and structured approach to work, coupled with strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in both written and spoken German and English, with a willingness to travel as needed.
