Job Title: Market Manager - Energy Markets

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Manager to join our team at E Energy Markets GmbH in Essen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering in-depth analysis of the price and fundamental development of the global commodity markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze energy market data to identify high-level trading opportunities, including managing E.200 TWh power & gas through strategic hedging decisions and open position management in forward markets with a focus on long- and midterm portfolio strategies.
  • Lead initiatives to build and mature a large, international energy customer portfolio as part of E.
  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to minimize potential losses and maximize returns.
Requirements:
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of energy markets, including commodity pricing, trading strategies, and risk management techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Python is a plus.
