Energy Markets Manager

As a Senior Manager Sourcing at E Energy Markets GmbH - Karriere, you will play a crucial role in bundling access to trading markets for our regional units, managing associated risks, and delivering value-creating activities. Your expertise will be essential in providing portfolio strategies, risk management concepts, and business activities in data and information processing.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and structure commercial opportunities in existing and new markets for E.ON in various energy commodities, including electricity, gas, renewables, and cross-commodities.
- Develop and execute hedging and risk mitigation strategies for positions stemming from origination transactions.
- Analyze markets, identify commercial opportunities, and develop sound origination strategies to meet E.ON's earnings targets.
- Liaise and steer internal stakeholders, including Risk, Portfolio Strategy, Finance, Contract/Legal, to structure, assess, and approve transactions.
- Establish and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including counterparties and industry associations.
- Develop pricing tools for market-based valuation of flexible power offtakes, gas storages, cross-border capacities, and other physical energy assets.
- Familiarity with market and credit risk management, balance sheet structures, asset valuations methodologies, and accounting principles, particularly with respect to structured transactions, is highly appreciated.
- Experience with master trade agreements, such as EFET and ISDA, is also valuable.
