Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the product line and portfolio for "Compounds for beverage applications," including business development, supply chain management, pricing strategies, innovation, and overall growth initiatives. Oversee the global product assortment in collaboration with the product organization and relevant internal stakeholders within our global matrix structure. Establish a strategic roadmap to drive business and revenue growth in close partnership with the Team Leader of Product Management. Participate in regular meetings with R&D, Marketing, Pricing, and Sales teams to align on pricing strategies, product portfolio, and supply chain matters. Conduct competitor analysis to benchmark our product offerings and prepare comprehensive competitive assessments. Support the sales team by engaging in customer visits, projects, and briefings to share specific product and market insights. Define success metrics and analyze customer feedback and product usage to inform the product roadmap. Communicate timely and aligned updates on the product portfolio across all media, including internal and external displays. Facilitate in-house training sessions to enhance understanding of the product portfolio and its positioning.Candidate Profile
Proven experience as a product manager in the food and beverage sector, preferably in a B2B context. Educational background in food technology, business administration, biotechnology, or a related field. Demonstrated success in creating and executing product roadmaps in a sustainable manner. Strong customer focus with the ability to engage directly and transparently with clients, fostering a partnership approach. Excellent organizational and project management capabilities, with a track record of meeting deadlines. Hands-on approach and entrepreneurial mindset, capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team. Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage change, and prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Willingness to travel internationally approximately 20% of the time. Proficiency in English and German is essential; additional languages are a plus.Benefits
