We are seeking a highly skilled Global Product Manager to lead the development and deployment of our product line and product portfolio for beverage applications. This is a key role within our organization, and the successful candidate will have a significant impact on our business success.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deploy the product line and product portfolio for beverage applications, including business development, supply chain, pricing, innovation, and growth initiatives.
- Manage the global assortment with the product organization and internal stakeholders within our global matrix organization.
- Define a roadmap to drive business growth and revenue growth in close alignment with the Team Leader Product Management.
- Attend regular meetings with R&D, Marketing, Pricing, and Sales teams to agree on pricing strategy, product portfolio, and supply chain topics.
- Monitor competitors to benchmark our portfolio and prepare a competitive analysis.
- Support the sales team by engaging in customer visits, projects, and briefings to share product and market knowledge.
- Define success metrics and analyze customer feedback and product usage to inform the product roadmap.
- Communicate portfolio updates to all stakeholders, including product portfolio displays within and outside the organization.
- Ensure in-house trainings to foster a deeper understanding of the product portfolio and positioning.
- Successful track record as a product manager in the food and beverages industry, ideally in a B2B business environment.
- Degree in food technology, general business administration, biotechnology, or a similar qualification.
- Proven track record creating and executing product roadmaps incrementally and sustainably.
- Strong customer mindset with ability to engage directly and honestly with customers and deliver positive experience.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with ability to meet deadlines.
- Hands-on mentality and entrepreneurial thinking skills, capable of working well as part of a team as well as independently.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, manage change, and multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.
- Willingness to travel globally approximately 20% of working time.
- Fluent English and German required; other additional languages highly beneficial.
