Accountant Cash Management Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Accountant Cash Management professional to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our cash flow, executing payments, and ensuring the accuracy of our financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cash flow and execute payments for Meininger Hotels
- Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, including balance sheet account reconciliations
- Prepare intercompany transactions and set up daily payments in banking software
- Perform weekly debiting of distributions from various payment service providers
- Ensure accurate month-end closing of accounts and provide support for group and local audits
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or comparable qualification in Accounting
- At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience in an international environment
- Thorough knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures: HGB and IFRS
- Proficient in MS Office (MS Excel) and ERP software (ideally Dynamics AX or Navision)
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines
- Proactive approach and ability to quickly establish yourself in a growing business environment
- Business fluent in German and English (written and oral), additional languages are an advantage
