Job Description

Support and Coordination

  • Provide administrative support to students, teachers, and parents regarding course and athletic team registrations.
  • Coordinate and organize athletic and after-school/holiday activities and programs.
  • Assess risks, costs, and trends to design sports and activity programming for students.
  • Oversee existing lesson plans and programs, and revamp old documents.
  • Observe and support existing programming, and monitor new programming.

Administration

  • Provide daily administrative support, and weekly teaching programs.
  • Communicate with coaches/instructors to gather feedback on existing programming, and email resources needed to succeed.
  • Assist in creating practice/lesson plans for new coaches/instructors.
  • Meet with coaches/instructors to design new programs.
  • Support the development of Long-Term Athletic Development (LTAD) plans for new coaches/instructors.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Pursuing a career in sports management, education, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge base of sports, athletic, and activity programs.
  • Passion for sports and knowledge of sport development models.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to provide coaches/instructors with resources needed.
  • Self-motivated, reliable team player with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of social media channels and best practices.
