About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims Oversight Manager to join our team at Great Lakes Insurance SE. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our claims management efforts and ensuring that our claims processes are aligned with industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive claims strategy that aligns with our business objectives and risk management framework.
- Lead a team of claims professionals to ensure that claims are handled efficiently and effectively, with a focus on customer satisfaction and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain a consistent claims reporting framework, enabling efficient control and monitoring.
- Negotiate and maintain Service Level Agreements with external partners to ensure compliance and performance.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including lawyers, service providers, and other industry experts.
Requirements
- Proven experience in claims management, with a strong understanding of industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of claims professionals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Fluency in English and German, with additional languages a plus.
