About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Cloud Foundry Runtime & Core Team as a Developer. As a member of this team, you will play a key role in developing, deploying, and maintaining the corresponding services running in a cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to open-source projects of the Cloud Foundry Foundation
  • Ensure the BTP Cloud Foundry Platform is running stable and reliably
  • Collaborate with teams all over the world within the company and the Cloud Foundry community
  • Develop and maintain cloud-based services using agile development methods
  • Participate in continuous integration and continuous delivery processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
  • Good knowledge in Python, Golang, or Ruby
  • Familiarity with agile methods, test-driven development, continuous integration, and pair programming
  • Experience with BASH, HTTP, and SQL
  • Preferably cloud development or distributed systems experience and Cloud Platforms, eg SAP BTP, AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud
  • Very good English language skills (verbal and written), German skills are a plus
  • Knowledge on Test framework, eg RSpec, Ginkgo, JUnit/Mockito and continuous integration tools like Jenkins or Concourse is a plus
  • Minimum of 3+ years of relevant work experience
