About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Foundry Developer to join our team at SAP. As a Cloud Foundry Developer, you will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining Cloud Foundry services running in a cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy Cloud Foundry services using agile development methods and pair programming
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of Cloud Foundry services
  • Contribute to open source projects of the Cloud Foundry Foundation
  • Ensure the reliability and stability of the BTP Cloud Foundry Platform
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality code
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Cloud Foundry technologies and best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
  • Proficient software development experience in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Golang, Java), test framework (e.g. Ginkgo, Py-/Unittest) and continuous integration tool (e.g. Jenkins, Concourse)
  • Familiar with agile methods, test-driven development, continuous integration and pair programming
  • Experience developing Cloud Service topics
  • Background in Linux (BASH), Networking (HTTP, DNS, TCP, OSI) and Databases (SQL)
  • Preferably cloud development or distributed systems experience and Cloud Platforms (e.g. SAP BTP, AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud)
  • Very good English language skills (verbal and written), German skills are a plus
  • We are looking for candidates with at least 5+ year of professional work experience
