Zusammenfassung:
Das Team bietet Plattformen als Dienstleistung und integrierte Kernservices für die Cloud Foundry (CF) Runtime der SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). Zu den Hauptaufgaben des Teams gehört die Entwicklung, Bereitstellung und Wartung der entsprechenden Dienste, die in einer Cloud-Umgebung betrieben werden. Das Team verfolgt agile Entwicklungsmethoden, Pair Programming, Software Craftsmanship, GitOps, testgetriebene Entwicklung und arbeitet in einer Umgebung mit kontinuierlicher Integration und kontinuierlicher Bereitstellung. Überwachung und Beobachtbarkeit sind weitere zentrale DevOps-Praktiken, auf die sich das Team konzentriert.

Die Rolle:
In dieser Funktion werden Sie zu Open-Source-Projekten der Cloud Foundry Foundation beitragen und sicherstellen, dass die BTP Cloud Foundry-Plattform zuverlässig und stabil läuft. Als Teil eines hochmotivierten, agilen und selbstverwalteten Teams mit kollektiver Codeverantwortung kümmern Sie sich um den Code von Ihrem lokalen Rechner bis zu produktiven Systemen. Sie werden neue Konzepte, Prozesse und moderne Open-Source-Technologien erlernen und anwenden. Zu den täglichen Aufgaben gehört die enge Zusammenarbeit mit Teams weltweit innerhalb des Unternehmens und der Cloud Foundry-Community. Bringen Sie Ihre Erfahrung in der testgetriebenen Entwicklung und Ihre Leidenschaft für Automatisierung ein.

Was Sie mitbringen:

  • Abschluss in Informatik oder einem verwandten Bereich
  • Fundierte Softwareentwicklungserfahrung in mindestens einer Programmiersprache (z.B. Python, Golang, Java) sowie in Testframeworks (z.B. Ginkgo, Py-/Unittest) und kontinuierlichen Integrationswerkzeugen (z.B. Jenkins, Concourse)
  • Vertrautheit mit agilen Methoden, testgetriebener Entwicklung, kontinuierlicher Integration und Pair Programming
  • Erfahrung in der Entwicklung von Cloud-Diensten
  • Hintergrund in Linux (BASH), Netzwerken (HTTP, DNS, TCP, OSI) und Datenbanken (SQL)
  • Bevorzugt Erfahrung in der Cloud-Entwicklung oder verteilten Systemen sowie mit Cloud-Plattformen (z.B. SAP BTP, AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud)
  • Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse (mündlich und schriftlich), Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil
