Logistics Operations Manager

WMF, a leading manufacturer of high-quality household appliances, is seeking a skilled Logistics Operations Manager to join their team in Germany. As a key member of the Groupe SEB, you will play a crucial role in managing the coordination between internal departments and external logistics partners, ensuring seamless processes and efficient supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with internal departments and logistics partners to optimize supply chain efficiency
  • Oversee inbound and outbound logistics operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage SAP systems to maintain accurate stock levels
  • Implement and maintain EDI interfaces to streamline communication with logistics partners
  • Provide exceptional customer service for logistics-related inquiries
  • Coordinate returns and activities, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption
  • Verify invoices and ensure accurate payment processing
  • Support logistics projects and initiatives to drive business growth and improvement
  • Develop and report on key performance indicators to inform business decisions

Requirements:

  • Relevant educational background in logistics or a related field
  • Proven experience in logistics operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in SAP R3 and Excel, with ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with ability to work effectively in a team
  • Fluency in German and English, with ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
