Content Development Expert

Position: Technical Writer
Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a proficient Technical Writer to enhance their documentation team. In this role, you will be tasked with producing clear and concise user manuals, service documentation, and internal technical materials for medical devices in both German and English. Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in the deployment of the new Component Content Management System SCHEMA ST4 and will oversee projects related to the creation of informational products. Your responsibilities will include collecting technical data, performing thorough research, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that all content adheres to established guidelines and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop clear and accessible user manuals and technical documentation in German and English
- Assist in the rollout of SCHEMA ST4
- Manage projects related to information product development
- Collect and synthesize technical information while coordinating with stakeholders
- Work closely with technical teams and translation services
- Ensure all content meets compliance standards and guidelines
- Participate in the establishment of editorial standards and terminology
Qualifications:
- Strong interest in creating user-centric content and technology
- Degree in Technical Writing, Technical Communication, or Information Design
- Experience with Component Content Management Systems, ideally SCHEMA ST4
- Understanding of information modeling and technical communication principles
- Proficiency in desktop publishing software and content management systems
- Fluency in both German and English
- Robust IT skills and familiarity with contemporary communication tools
