YOUR ROLE...

  • serve as a vital member of the technical coordination team for our innovative aircraft, with the goal of obtaining approval authority for modifications and decisions
  • represent Production interests to Engineering and vice versa
  • analyze and devise solutions for non-conformances and concessions that arise during the manufacturing process
  • interpret technical schematics and facilitate the rectification of discrepancies in documents and drawings identified during production through methods such as red-lining
  • navigate competing demands and requirements to achieve technical resolutions among Operations, Suppliers, and Engineering
  • formulate solutions to a diverse range of challenges of varying complexity while adhering to established Company Processes and leveraging support from the broader organization
  • engage with and comprehend 3D models, assemblies, installations, system requirements, interface/supplier control drawings, performance specifications, system checkout procedures, and statements of work
  • maintain documentation or supervise the documentation process to ensure that engineering drawings and documents are up-to-date and that engineering-related production issues and solutions are recorded
  • offer technical advice and drawing interpretation across all sectors of the manufacturing facility
  • provide guidance on compliance and standards to relevant team members
  • apply your experience and expertise to address issues that impact both the immediate and long-term objectives of the company and its initiatives
There may be a need to work in a shift pattern (early & late shifts) during specific stages of the production process (not regular shift work)

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS...

  • possess a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering
  • have substantial experience in the aviation sector, with a strong preference for backgrounds in coordination teams or similar roles
  • understand OEM Engineering Organizations
  • have familiarity with CAD software (preferably Siemens NX)
  • possess basic knowledge of PDM/PLM systems (Teamcenter or equivalent)
  • demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure environment while maintaining flexibility, precision, and attention to detail
  • excel in collaborating with colleagues across various departments, even when faced with challenges (scheduling, budgeting, etc.)
  • exhibit strong initiative and judgment to propose enhancements in our processes and product offerings
  • be open to taking on new responsibilities as business needs evolve
  • maintain focus on key tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • possess proficient German and fluent English language skills
