The Digital Solutions Development Manager will take the lead in managing deals within a designated portfolio and collaborate closely with our sales teams to enhance digital sales for this portfolio. You will be expected to proactively identify opportunities, upsell and cross-sell digital solutions, and oversee the complete sales cycle management and overall customer relationship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively with Iron Mountain sales teams to support the entire deal lifecycle, including pipeline development and account strategy, solution design initiation, and maximizing the IRM digital value proposition.
- Proactively evaluate the customer's current and potential digital requirements to effectively position, expand, and upsell opportunities for Digital offerings.
- Formulate and execute strategies and business plans by comprehending the customer's business model and their unique value proposition in the marketplace.
- Coordinate all deal logistics and approvals across sales, operations, professional services, legal, and operations from deal qualification to contract signing.
- Utilize effective storytelling through qualitative and quantitative analyses to translate customer needs into a comprehensive solution.
- Work alongside technical Solution Architects to accurately qualify and position IRM's Digital solution offerings for customers by assessing their challenges or opportunities and highlighting IRM's strengths and competitive advantages.
- Maximize deal profitability by leading the negotiation process and ensuring a timely and acceptable outcome.
- Demonstrate successful experience in collaborating with customers to influence RFP development, ensuring the solution offering is optimally positioned to win. The SDM will also possess strong proposal writing skills and lead a proposal response team when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Strong background and knowledge of enterprise-level digital transformation solutions, including digitization services, intelligent document processing, automation solutions, cloud migration services, information governance, content service platform solutions, AI/ML modeling, strategic account management, sales processes, and solution selling.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding multimillion-dollar quotas in large, complex service-based organizations.
- Ability to translate customer needs into solution requirements by creating compelling value propositions.
- Passion for problem-solving and data-driven analysis to enhance customer outcomes.
- Proven sales skills and needs identification abilities to influence and negotiate by aligning unique insights with key customer priorities.
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills with a deep understanding of strategic selling methodologies.
- Customer-first and growth-oriented mindset, always seeking ways to assist clients in achieving their transformational goals.
- Strong interpersonal, planning, analytical skills, and business acumen for effective decision-making.
