About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist to join our Data Foundation & Ad Tech team at MediaMarktSaturn Retail Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving our Personalization and strategic data projects forward with your innovative approach and fresh ideas for Product Recommendation.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud data platforms that meet business requirements
  • Develop future-proof data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform components
  • Provision and manage cloud infrastructure as code using Terraform
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure GDPR compliant use of data
  • Actively contribute to the development of data engineering best practices

Your Profile

  • Strong background in computer science or information systems
  • Several years of experience in designing and implementing cloud data platforms
  • Good understanding of Data Warehouse architecture and concepts
  • Strong data engineering skills in SQL and Python, with experience in Google Cloud Platform and Terraform
  • E2E perspective on complex systems
