About the Role

The Director of Financial Transformation will drive change across Finance & Accounting, leading finance transformation programs for Deutsche Börse Group with an initial focus on Post-Trading. This role will oversee financial & regulatory reporting project initiatives and have oversight over process improvements in Financial Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and/or support Financial Accounting & Controlling projects across the Group, including SAP migrations, process E2E redesign of Shared Service Centres, regulatory reporting landscape, BCBS 239, master data governance, and intercompany topics.
  • Maintain Compliance with financial and regulatory requirements while staying up to date with industry changes.
  • Drive change by developing and implementing best practices in the field of effective governance, oversight, and controls.
  • Work closely with other CFO functions at group level.
  • Base of operations will be the triangle Eschborn, Luxembourg, and Prague.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and pro-active individual with a sense of ownership, self-managed, high work ethics, goal-oriented approach, and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will have:

University degree, e.g., in economics, business administration, mathematics, physics, and/or a comparable professional qualification or training.Professional experience in the financial industry in similar functions for 10 to 15 years (preferable accountancy qualification with relevant experience in a financial officer role).Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations as well as best practices on industry standards.Experience in data governance topics will be a plus.Innovative and change agent.Leveraging diversity and ability to lead without authority and work well with international teams based in different locations.Ability to work in a matrix environment.Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics in a structured way and present them in accordance with different target audiences, such as senior management, control functions, and regulators.Proficiency in written and spoken English; German and French language skills will be a plus.
