ABOUT THE POSITION
The Technical Knowledge Consultant (TKC) plays a pivotal role in enhancing the department's comprehension of innovative functionalities. While the TKC will not be responsible for drafting documentation or directly developing training materials, they will be expected to guide team members, assist in onboarding new employees, and empower the team to manage more intricate tasks.
To excel in this position, candidates should possess experience with the OneStream platform and a natural curiosity to expand their knowledge, share insights with the team, and facilitate skill development. A self-motivated, accountable, ethical, and diligent individual who can work both independently and collaboratively is essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Knowledge Acquisition
Explore product features and solutions prior to the creation of new training courses to streamline content development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in Sprint meetings to gain insights into upcoming features and solutions, becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) who can assist the department in creating training content and validating documentation. Identify use cases for new features and solutions to expedite the enablement of the OneStream community. Work with support teams to understand prevalent issues and determine documentation and training strategies to address the root causes.Enablement Initiatives
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for the Product Knowledge department. Employ effective knowledge transfer methods to accelerate departmental deliverables. Conduct training and enablement sessions at the departmental level to enhance understanding of the platform. Mentor new hires, assisting them in building their knowledge and comprehension of the platform and its solutions. Identify gaps in knowledge to improve the quality of documentation and training content. Assist in maintaining and updating the OneStream application utilized for developing new courses. Validate content for the Release Highlights eLearning course.Content Verification
Aid the Documentation team by providing practical use cases for reference materials, release notes, and other documentation. Support the Content Development team to ensure the technical accuracy of learning assets.REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology. Over 3 years of experience with OneStream in a support capacity, collaborating closely with engineering, enablement, delivery, and product management teams. Technical proficiency and understanding of enterprise technologies. Experience in a dynamic organization where adaptability and quick thinking are crucial. Ability to analyze and communicate technical issues effectively.PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Background in accounting or finance. Product knowledge equivalent to a OneStream Certified Architect. Familiarity with SQL database technologies and database management.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Innovative and creative problem-solver with a naturally inquisitive mindset. Strong relationship-building skills and effective communication with internal stakeholders. Comfortable addressing and instructing groups. Ability to grasp complex technical topics and convey understanding to others. Knowledge of CPM/EPM applications such as OneStream, Oracle/Hyperion, SAP, Anaplan, and Tagetik. Experience in CPM domain Financial Reporting, multi-dimensional modeling, integration, reporting, forecasting, and planning. Passionate about learning new technologies and software.ABOUT US
