Medverse GmbH is a pioneering company in the field of virtual reality high-fidelity education, offering a board-certified and approved platform for healthcare professionals to experience immersive training.

Our Software as a Service (SaaS) solution empowers medical specialists and users to learn procedures and workflows, measure learning progress, and establish quality standards.

We are in the seed stage, and this is an ideal time to onboard a talented tech visionary who can join our mission and drive our team's success.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing the company's product and technology strategy, ensuring it is future-proof, clean, maintainable, and aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Representing the company as the primary spokesperson on matters related to technology, participating in industry events, conferences, and public forums.
  • Defining and implementing engineering strategies and procedures that align with our mission and vision.
  • Building and managing a high-performing technology team, setting goals, providing mentorship and coaching, and promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Advocating for Agile and DevOps cultures among management and team members.
  • Collaborating with the CEO, sales, finance, and marketing teams to track requirements, development budgets, and product design.
  • Staying current on new technologies and industry trends, and exploring opportunities to integrate them into the company's products and services, particularly in SaaS, AI, Augmented Reality, and IoT.
  • Overseeing all system design and changes in system architecture.
Requirements

Your qualifications should include:

  • Proven experience as a CTO or senior technology leader in a start-up or fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for technology and a strong desire to stay current with new developments in the field.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and solve complex problems.
  • Proven ability to manage and inspire agile teams.
  • A solid understanding of DevOps principles.
  • A solid understanding of VR technology and immersive technology trends.
  • Strong expertise in VR (and not only) development tools and languages like Unity and C#.
  • Fluency in German and English, with other languages being a plus.
