We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Reporting Specialist to spearhead our sustainability reporting projects, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and shape our sustainability journey.

About the Role

As a Sustainability Reporting Specialist, you will be responsible for managing our annual sustainability reporting projects based on the ESRS standard, working closely with auditors for report assurance, and monitoring developments in the regulatory landscape to derive necessary actions for EQS.

You will be in close contact with our internal and external stakeholders, owning the sustainability materiality management, and having an overview of all necessary sustainability KPIs to drive further improvements.

You will also own risk management for social and governance issues, support internal supplier risk management, and communicate our sustainability journey internally and externally with stakeholders.

Additionally, you will manage our internal Corporate Volunteering programme at EQS and participate in ratings, external profiles, stakeholder questionnaires, and sustainability profiles on external platforms, as well as our participation in the UN Global Compact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage annual sustainability reporting projects based on the ESRS standard
  • Work closely with auditors for report assurance
  • Monitor developments in the regulatory landscape and derive necessary actions for EQS
  • Own sustainability materiality management
  • Have an overview of all necessary sustainability KPIs to drive further improvements
  • Own risk management for social and governance issues
  • Support internal supplier risk management
  • Communicate our sustainability journey internally and externally with stakeholders
  • Manage internal Corporate Volunteering programme at EQS
  • Participate in ratings, external profiles, stakeholder questionnaires, and sustainability profiles on external platforms
  • Participate in the UN Global Compact
Requirements
  • Familiarity with relevant reporting standards (ESRS, GRI, SASB) as well as the EU Taxonomy for the Green Deal and the underlying methodologies such as stakeholder and materiality management
  • Experience in managing sustainability reporting projects with different stakeholders
  • Comfortable communicating sustainability topics to different internal and external stakeholders and curious about how to further improve Sustainability@EQS
  • Enjoy communicating our approach to sustainability at EQS through various channels and platforms
  • Master's degree in sustainability, business, law, or equivalent
